Food & Essentials
The pantry accepts non-perishable food donations and distributes food to those in need. Suggested food items include peanut butter, powdered milk, canned vegetables, pasta sauce, canned or dry beans, canned fruits, canned soups, canned meats, tuna, and cereal.
Additional Support
The Society also provides financial assistance to people in need, handled personally by trained volunteers.
Ways to Give
You can donate non-perishable food items at the Joe Latina Food Pantry, located behind the Wells Fargo Bank on North 56th Street, on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monetary donations are also welcome through PayPal or through the SVdP Temple Terrace website.
How to Join the Team?
Volunteers are needed to interview clients seeking financial assistance. It's about 3 to 4 hours each week, one morning a week. If you'd like to help, call 813-899-4603.
