Food & Essentials

The Mission Market provides seasonally fresh and nutritionally balanced food, along with cleaning supplies. Pet food is also available at times. Food donations from local partners bring in produce, bakery items, bread, deli items, meat, and frozen food.

How to Pick Up

Visitors shop for their own items with the help of volunteers. When you arrive, staff check your ID and enter your information. Two volunteers then walk through the market with you to help you choose what you need.

Additional Support

The Nathaniel Mission offers much more beyond food. A Poverty Intervention and Prevention Coordinator is on hand to help you connect to community resources like housing help, medical bill assistance, utility support, and job placement. Monthly Lunch and Learn programs are held on the first Tuesday of each month and cover topics like finance, budgeting, banking, and housing rights. Health and Wellness programs also take place on the third Tuesday of the month. Health clinics run at least three times a month and include services like vision care, podiatry, and diabetes support.
