- Produce, bread, and eggs: once per week (based on availability)
Good to Know
Hours are semester-based and change each term. For Spring 2026, the pantry is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 4:30–6:30 pm, and Sunday noon–2 pm. The last open day of the Spring 2026 semester is May 17. Check the Tiger Pantry website for current semester hours before visiting.
Both Tiger Pantry (food and household items) and Truman's Closet (clothing) are open during the same hours and at the same location.
If you need food between pantry hours, Emergency Food Packs are available at various locations across campus — see the Tiger Pantry website for current distribution points.
Food & Essentials
Tiger Pantry distributes non-perishable food items, household products, and hygiene items. Fresh produce, bread, and eggs are available weekly when in stock. No fresh meat or dairy is distributed. Truman's Closet provides free clothing.
How to Pick Up
Visit the pantry at 299 Hitt Street, lower level of the Hitt Street Parking Structure — enter off Elm Street. No appointment is needed during open hours. Give your birthdate or last name at the door so staff can confirm your visit frequency.
Ways to Give
You can support Tiger Pantry by donating online, hosting a food drive, or donating non-perishables directly. Most-needed items include cereal, breakfast items, canned goods, ramen, and hygiene products (soap, deodorant, toothbrushes). To donate online, visit the Tiger Pantry donation page.
