Your household income also needs to be at or below 1.5 times the federal poverty level. No appointment is needed to visit during regular food pickup hours.

Items Needed for Registration

When you come for the first time, bring a photo ID and a piece of mail that shows your current address. Acceptable mail includes a utility bill, bank statement, credit card statement, or a letter from a school or other reputable source.

How Often You Can Visit?

Clients may receive a basket of food every other week.

Good to Know

The pantry is located inside the Husky Support Center. Look for the orange Husky Support Center sign on Midland, then turn onto Milton from Midland and take a right onto Shelley. The pantry is in the back of the building. If the Ritenour School District closes its buildings due to inclement weather, the pantry will also be closed. Volunteer translators are available on-site, so just ask if you need language help.

Food & Essentials

The pantry provides a generous variety of food. Reviewers mention receiving items like ground beef, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, eggs, milk, and bread. The pantry also stocks fresh vegetables, fruits, and meats. Monetary donations fund refrigerated space, which allows the pantry to offer fresh and frozen food alongside shelf-stable items like canned goods and cereals. When available, the pantry can also provide diapers and dog food.

How to Pick Up

Ritenour Co-Care is a client-choice pantry where you can walk the aisles and pick out the items you want. Volunteers are stationed throughout the space to help you as you shop. If you need something specific, let the staff know and they'll do their best to provide it if it's available.

Additional Support

The pantry hosts a monthly Mobile Market at the Ritenour Co-Care location, which offers a good variety of food to community members.
