Orphan Grain Train MO-IL Branch
Who Can Visit?
Orphan Grain Train Missouri-Illinois is a warehouse branch that collects and ships donated goods to people in need. The warehouse at 3415 Taft Ave in St. Louis is open for donors and volunteers on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 11:30 am, or by calling for an appointment.
Food & Essentials
The branch gathers food, clothing, hygiene items, blankets, and quilts, then delivers or ships them to area churches, local food pantries, and people in need both domestically and internationally. Recent distributions to St. Louis-area churches have included tens of thousands of pounds of food. Volunteers also assemble hygiene kits that are shipped out domestically and internationally.
How to Pick Up
This location primarily serves as a collection and distribution center that supplies food to partner churches and local pantries in the St. Louis area rather than distributing directly to individuals. To find a church pantry near you that receives food from Orphan Grain Train, you can contact the branch by phone or email.
Ways to Give
The branch welcomes donations of food, clothing, hygiene items, and other goods. Please contact the branch in advance to confirm hours before dropping off items, as Orphan Grain Train does not send trucks to collect donations. You can also donate online at orphangraintrain-bloom.kindful.com or mail a check to: Orphan Grain Train, P.O. Box 1466, Norfolk, NE 68702. Checks can include a memo noting where you'd like the gift to go, or leave it blank for "Where Most Needed."
To reach the Missouri-Illinois branch directly, contact Branch Manager Brad Jackson at (314) 496-0208 or mo-il@ogt.org.
