Helping Hand of Vegas Valley
Who Can Visit?
Helping Hands of Vegas Valley serves older adults aged 60 and older who live in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and other parts of Clark County, Nevada. To qualify for the Senior Marketplace pantry, you must also have an income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level. All programs and services are completely free of charge.
Before your first visit, you'll need to complete a registration form and go through a brief intake assessment. Pantry services are only available to clients who have been approved after this process.

To get registered, contact Helping Hands of Vegas Valley by phone at (702) 633-7264. Staff will walk you through the intake process, confirm your eligibility, and help you complete your registration. You can also visit their office at 5450 W Sahara Ave, Suite 340, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
Items Needed for Registration
When you come to register, bring the following:
- Proof of age (showing you are 60 or older)
- Proof of Nevada residency
- A completed income declaration
How Often You Can Visit?
Registered clients can visit the Senior Marketplace pantry once a month. If you need extra help before your next monthly visit, you may request an emergency food bag.
For grocery delivery clients, deliveries are also available once a month.
Good to Know
Be prepared to wait outside when you arrive at the pantry. Wait times can vary depending on the day and time, and there's no way to predict exactly how long the wait will be. It's a good idea to plan ahead and arrive with some extra time.
Food & Essentials
The Senior Marketplace offers a wide selection of nutritious food items that are tailored to different dietary needs and tastes. The pantry uses an open-choice concept, meaning you can browse and pick the items that work best for you. Fresh and local produce is also available thanks to a partnership with Gilcrease Orchards, supported by the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
How to Pick Up
The Senior Marketplace uses a client-choice format, similar to shopping at a store. You walk through and select the food items you want from what's available. The pantry is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
