Who Can Visit?
The food pantry at Paradise Seventh-day Adventist Church is open to community members in need. The Adventist Community Service (ACS) program serves referred families, walk-ins, and ongoing clients each month.
Food & Essentials
The pantry provides supplemental groceries to help individuals and families get through the month. Food and supplies come from local agency partnerships as well as monetary and personal donations. The church's main food partner is Three Square, Southern Nevada's Food Bank. In addition to food, new and gently used clothing donations are collected and distributed on distribution days.
How to Pick Up
Numbers are called during distribution, and visitors wait for their number to be announced before picking up their food.
Additional Support
ACS offers a variety of services beyond food, including:
- Clothes Closet for new and gently used clothing
- Single Parent Mentoring
- Community Outreach Events
- Community Fellowship Lunches
- Prayer and Bible Study Connection
- First Aid, Health and Wellness Events
- Youth Activities, Referral and Volunteer Opportunities
- Referrals to other Southern Nevada area resources
The team also provides a listening ear and personal ministries to help community members going through difficult times.
