Mercy Neighborhood Ministries (MNM) is a Cincinnati nonprofit inspired by the Sisters of Mercy. They run a Community Pantry, senior supportive services, and adult education and job-training programs — all aimed at helping neighbors live with dignity and independence.

Who Can Visit?

The Community Pantry is open to residents of ZIP codes 45206, 45207, and 45212. Seniors aged 60 and older living in ZIP codes 45206 or 45207 also qualify for additional supportive services through MNM's Senior + Supportive Services program.

Food & Essentials

MNM runs a choice food pantry, which means you get to shop for the items you want — just like in a store. Shelves are stocked with:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Frozen foods
  • Canned goods
  • Personal care items

The amount you can take home is based on your household size.

How to Pick Up

The pantry is located at 1602 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206 — behind St. Frances de Sales Church, on the corner of Woodburn and Madison. Look for the glass doors facing the church and press the doorbell for the Lower Level.

Friendly volunteers will greet you, walk you through the pantry, and even help carry your bags to your car.

Pantry hours:

| Day | Hours | |-----------|-----------------| | Monday | 9:00 – 11:30 AM | | Tuesday | 9:00 – 11:30 AM | | Wednesday | 9:00 – 11:30 AM |

Additional Support

MNM offers much more than food. Seniors ages 60+ in ZIP codes 45206 and 45207 can access:

  • Crisis assistance — limited emergency help when difficulties arise
  • Referrals to other community organizations
  • Help with paperwork for insurance, public benefits, and medical issues
  • Wellness checks
  • Social activities — monthly luncheons, birthday celebrations, phone calls, and spiritual visits

MNM also offers adult education (including GED prep through Aspire) and healthcare career training programs such as Home Care Aide Training (HCAT), State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training, and the Hospital Worker Readiness Program (HWRP).

Good to Know
