Urban League Of Pittsburgh, Inc. - Food Pantry
Who Can Visit?
Hunger Services at the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is open to individuals and families who live in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Lawrence, Washington, or Westmoreland County. The Emergency Food Assistance (EFA) program specifically helps families in Allegheny County who need food quickly. The Food for Early Development (FED) program helps families with infants and young children who don't receive WIC benefits.
How Often You Can Visit?
The emergency pantry is available as a once-a-year safety net for families in urgent need. Every family who uses the emergency pantry also receives a referral to a neighborhood food pantry so they can keep getting help over time.
Food & Essentials
Through the FED program, families that don't qualify for WIC can receive baby formula and soft foods to support their infant's healthy growth and development.
Additional Support
Through the EFA program, Allegheny County families are connected to a broad network of neighborhood food pantries and community feeding facilities that are part of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. This means you won't just get help once. You'll be linked to ongoing food support in your neighborhood. Call (412) 227-4164 to reach the Hunger Services team.
Ways to Give
You can support the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh in several ways.
