How Often You Can Visit?
Clients receive a food card that is good for one year. After a year, you can reapply.
Good to Know
Orders must be placed at least 3 days before your scheduled pickup. You can only place one order at a time through the online market, and your order won't be fulfilled if you choose more than one item. Staff say they'll accommodate larger families. Some products are donated and accepted in "as is" condition, so contents vary based on current donations.
Food & Essentials
Each appointment provides a prepared grocery basket that may include meats, fresh produce, canned goods, breads, beverages, and other essential items. Reviewers mention receiving fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, dairy like milk, canned goods, bread, frozen food, desserts, snacks, coffee, and occasionally flowers or holiday gift items as a special surprise. The pantry aims to provide healthy, quality groceries.
The food bank also operates a small store open to the public that sells essential household, cleaning, and hygiene items at about 50% of retail prices. These items are also available at no cost for those who can't afford them.
How to Pick Up
After placing your order through the Mustard Seed Market online, you'll receive a confirmation email with your appointment date and time. All grocery pickups are by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
