Who Can Visit?

Vision Life Ministries Food Giveaway is open to anyone who needs food. There's no mention of income limits or zip code restrictions, so everyone is welcome to come. Just show up in person during distribution hours at the back of the church.

Good to Know

The food giveaway happens every Friday from 12 noon to 2 PM, and you only have about 15 minutes inside, so it's good to be ready to move through the line. No bag or cart will hold your place in line. You must physically be in line for yourself only, and you can't hold a place for someone else. Make sure to bring plenty of bags to carry your food home. Come around to the back of the church when you arrive.

Food & Essentials

It's a self-serve setup where you can take as much as you want, except for meat. For meat, you receive just two items. One visitor shared that they started eating healthier after visiting this pantry.

How to Pick Up

This is a self-serve food giveaway. You show up during open hours, get in line yourself, and select your food. Meat is the only item with a limit of two per person. You have 15 minutes to pick up your food.

Additional Support

If you need to register for USDA benefits, a volunteer will come to get you and escort you back in line so you don't lose your spot.

Vision Life Ministries also hosts a free Community Feeding on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 12 noon to 2 PM at 129 Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA.

A free Clothing Depot is available every Tuesday from 12 to 2 PM at 129 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
