Who Can Visit?

Caring for Citizens of Alabama's Food Box Distribution program is open to all low-income individuals and families in Alabama. No income verification is required at distribution events.

Good to Know

Each food box contains 30 to 50 lbs of food at no cost. You don't need to pre-register or show proof of income to attend the drive-through event.

Food & Essentials

Every food box is packed with fresh produce, proteins, dairy products, and pantry staples. Seniors aged 60 and older can also receive a senior-specific food box tailored to the nutritional needs of older adults.

How to Pick Up

Food is distributed through a drive-through event held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12:30 PM at Alpha Omega Center LLC, 2424 East South Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36116. No registration is required on the day of distribution. You can also submit an online food box request in advance at website, where you can share your household size and any dietary needs such as gluten-free or no pork, and the team will confirm your pickup details.
