Who Can Visit?
The Salvation Army Red Shield in Tampa is a homeless shelter that provides free meals and support services to people experiencing homelessness. It is not open to the general public as a walk-in food pantry. Food is provided to shelter residents as part of their stay.
The shelter serves both men and women. Veterans receive special accommodations. Families are generally not accepted at this location.

Residents can stay for up to six months if they remain in good standing with the program.
