Who Can Visit?

Soup-n-Share Outreach Program serves families and individuals with low incomes in Madison County, Illinois. The pantry has been operating since 2009 and is open to the community to get food, clothing, diapers, and other necessities at no cost.

For the Wednesday pantry, no appointment is needed — just come during distribution hours. For the Friday pantry, you'll need to call ahead for an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome on Fridays from 5:10 pm to 5:30 pm only.

How to Register?

To book a Friday appointment, call (618) 709-7500 between 10 am and 2 pm.

How to Pick Up

Soup-n-Share uses a client-choice format, which they consider a best practice for food pantries. You get to walk through and choose your own foods rather than receiving a pre-packed bag. This means you take only what your family needs and can tailor the items to fit your own preferences and situation.

On Fridays, Soup-n-Share also offers a hot meal service during pantry distribution, thanks to a partnership with Ravanelli's in Collinsville.

Food & Essentials

The pantry distributes food each week to help families and individuals stretch their dollars. Because it's a client-choice pantry, you can pick from the items available. On Fridays, hot meals are also available during distribution thanks to Ravanelli's in Collinsville.

Soup-n-Share offers several programs beyond the food pantry:
