Who Can Visit?

Tiny Pantry Times welcomes everyone who needs a hand up. The pantry does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, mental or physical disability, political belief or affiliation, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, or any other protected class. The pantry serves families, friends, and neighbors of Northern Johnson County, KS and the entire KC Metro area.

Good to Know

The pantry is a self-serve, outdoor pantry located at 7450 Conser, Overland Park, KS 66204, between Overland Park Christian Church and Overland Park Fire Station #41. It is open and filled, as volunteers are able, between 8 am and 8 pm every single day of the year, including holidays. There is a one-bag limit per visit. The pantry is restocked multiple times throughout the day. Occasionally some items may be expired, so it is good to check dates before taking something.

Food & Essentials

The pantry carries a wide range of items. You can find dry and canned foods, frozen and refrigerated foods and drinks kept in a mini-fridge, and personal hygiene and cleaning products. Seasonal items like winter wear (gloves and beanies) are sometimes available as well. Occasionally pet food for dogs and cats may also be on hand. Fresh produce such as tomatoes has been donated and distributed through the pantry too.

How to Pick Up

Tiny Pantry Times is a completely self-serve, client-choice pantry. No sign-up or check-in is needed. You simply walk up to the outdoor pantry, choose the items you want, and take up to one bag per visit. By letting people pick their own items, the pantry helps reduce waste and lets recipients select foods that fit their diet and cultural preferences.

Ways to Give

The pantry gladly accepts unopened, unexpired food and personal hygiene products at any time. If you have food donations, please place them in the donation box at the top of the walkway. A cooler is located inside the box for perishable foods.

You can also donate money through Venmo by scanning the Venmo code on the donations page to send funds directly to the pantry. Monetary donations are used to purchase food on behalf of donors. Suggested donation levels are:

  • Individual: $20/month
  • Family: $30/month
  • Small Business: $50/month
  • Corporation: $500/month

Donated items can also be purchased for fundraising through the "Donated Items for Sale" page; all proceeds go into the general fund. Purchases may be tax deductible as allowed by law.
