Who Can Visit?
The People's Market at the Lexington Pride Center is open to LGBTQIA+ people, their families, and allies. The market follows a low-barrier, high-choice model so the community can get the food they need without unnecessary hurdles. To receive food, you'll need to fill out a sign-up form first.

How Often You Can Visit?
Participating households can pick up food once each week.
Good to Know
Snack foods and drinks are available at the Lexington Pride Center between distribution days, so you don't have to wait until the next pick-up day for something to eat.

The People's Market is a high-choice market, meaning you get to select your own items. This lets you choose the foods that are right for you and your household.
Additional Support
Home delivery is available for community members who aren't able to come in person. Volunteer delivery drivers serve the community on Wednesdays between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Contact Bryana Magee at bryana@lexpridecenter.org or (859) 253-3233 to ask about delivery.
Ways to Give
The Lexington Pride Center is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, so all donations are tax deductible. You can give online at the Donate page. Your support helps fund the food pantry, case management, and other community programs.
How to Join the Team?
The Lexington Pride Center welcomes volunteers for a variety of roles. For the People's Market, delivery drivers are needed on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Drivers must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and insurance, and be able to lift and carry food bags up to 50 lbs. A copy of your license and proof of insurance are required before you start.
