Who Can Visit?
The SHARE Center's food programs are open to everyone in the community. You don't need to register or make an appointment ahead of time to receive food.
Good to Know
The Saturday produce market and the Saturday lunch run at the same time, so you can pick up fresh vegetables and grab a meal in one trip. The lunch is served starting at noon and limited to one meal per person, and it continues until supplies run out. Many visitors have shared how much food they were able to take home.
Food & Essentials
On Saturdays, the Fresh Produce Market gives away bags of fresh produce including potatoes, tomatoes, cabbage, and more. What's available changes each week depending on donations received. A free ready-to-eat lunch is also served every Saturday starting at 12:00 PM.
On weekdays, the food bank offers canned goods, cereal, pasta, and other shelf-stable staples, all free of charge.
How to Pick Up
Both the Saturday programs and the weekday food bank are walk-in. Just show up and the team will help you.
Additional Support
Beyond food, the SHARE Center offers a wide range of services. A free medical clinic and a newly opened free dental clinic operate on Saturdays. The center's job referral program connects visitors with potential employers, with staff helping match clients to appropriate job opportunities. A community garden is tended on-site, and a Day of Dignity event brings together additional resources for the neighborhood.
The SHARE Center also distributes clothing, including children's clothing and items suited for job interviews, based on community members' accounts.
Ways to Give
You can support the SHARE Center with a financial donation through their donation page.
