Food & Essentials
Brighton Center's Choice Food Pantry provides food boxes that include a variety of groceries. Visitors have noted receiving a good amount of food including snacks and drinks. The pantry is also able to provide USDA TEFAP and CSFP commodities for qualifying Campbell County residents. Beyond food, the Family Center also offers clothing vouchers, personal hygiene items, and limited assistance with baby items such as diapers and wipes.
How to Pick Up
This is a choice food pantry where visitors can select their own items. Visitors pull up and check in to receive their food.
Additional Support
Brighton Center offers much more than food. Through the Family Center, staff can connect you with a resource advocate for help with utility bills, financial assistance, and referrals to other services. Brighton Center also offers free tax preparation through its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which is available to individuals who generally earn $84,000 or less per year, people with disabilities, and seniors. IRS-certified volunteers file taxes electronically for free. For more information, contact the Financial Wellness team at (859) 491-8303 ext. 2314 or infoFW@brightoncenter.com. Brighton Center is also in partnership with Sanitation District 1 to screen qualifying families for a 20% monthly discount on their sanitation bill.
