Who Can Visit?
God's Outreach Food Bank serves low-income families and individuals who live in Madison County. You must be a Madison County resident to receive food here. The pantry provides both regular supplemental food and emergency food assistance for those in need.
Items Needed for Registration
Please bring these items on your first visit:
- Your photo ID or driver's license
- A current piece of mail with your name and address on it
- The name and date of birth of everyone living in your home
Food & Essentials
Each visit includes a variety of food items such as meat, bread, milk, eggs, fresh fruit, vegetables, and non-perishable goods. Visitors have also been helped with pet food for their dogs.
How to Pick Up
You don't have to get out of your car to receive food. Volunteers will come to your vehicle and load the groceries directly inside for you. The process is fast and friendly.
Additional Support
Senior Program: Adults 60 and older can apply for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (C.S.F.P.), which provides USDA nutritious foods to support a healthy diet. The senior pickup takes place on the last Monday of each month. You can apply online at godsoutreach.org or download and print the application at godsoutreach.org. A list of upcoming senior pickup dates is also available.
Backpack Program: God's Outreach partners with local schools to send backpacks filled with weekend food home with children in need throughout Madison County, distributing about 2,700 backpacks each month.
Clothing Bank: Families who are eligible to receive food at God's Outreach can also visit the affiliated clothing bank at Fountain Park Church of God (5000 Secretariat Dr., Richmond, KY 40475) once every three months. The clothing bank is open Tuesdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
Ways to Give
