A full-course, homecooked meal is served every Thursday evening. The program uses around 400 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables each week to prepare the dinner.

How to Pick Up

Dinner is served in the fellowship hall of Christ Church Cambridge every Thursday evening starting at 5:00 p.m. About 100 guests share the meal together each week.

Ways to Give

The Harvard Square Churches Meal Program depends on community generosity to keep serving. You can make a secure online donation through PayPal at harvardsquaremeals.org. Suggested gift amounts are $25, $50, $100, and $250, and you can give one time or set up a monthly, quarterly, or yearly contribution.

How to Join the Team?

Volunteers are a vital part of the program and are always welcome. You can help with cooking on Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., or with meal service and cleanup from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Volunteers come from local churches, colleges, schools, and the surrounding neighborhood. To sign up, fill out the volunteer form at harvardsquaremeals.org and the team will reach out to schedule your first experience.
