Who Can Visit?
CEOC's Central Square Food Pantry is open to Cambridge residents only. When you come for the first time, the pantry manager will check you into their system by asking a few questions, including your name, contact information, and address.
How Often You Can Visit?
You can visit as often as you need. Each time you come, staff will check you in with just your name.
Good to Know
CEOC earned the 2025 Healthy Pantry Leader designation from the Greater Boston Food Bank. The pantry uses the SWAP (Supporting Wellness at Pantries) labeling system, so you can easily spot the most nutritious choices while you browse.
Food & Essentials
The pantry offers free food including fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen meat, and a limited supply of non-perishables like shelf-stable milk and rice.
Additional Support
CEOC offers many free services alongside the food pantry. Staff can help you apply for SNAP/food stamps, complete your recertification and interim report, and understand notices from DTA. They also provide free tax preparation assistance, health insurance enrollment help, housing case management and advocacy, financial education and coaching, College and FAFSA assistance, and the MBTA Reduced Fare Program. The Journey to Hope Wellness Support Service provides mental health support as well. To learn more, visit the CEOC services page.
Ways to Give
Donations help keep the pantry stocked and fund all of CEOC's programs. You can make a monetary gift on their donation page, purchase household goods and pantry supplies through their Target registry, or pick up a grocery store gift card and drop it off at 11 Inman Street, Cambridge, MA 02139. You can also reach them at (617) 868-2900 or info@ceoccambridge.org.
