Who Can Visit?

The food pantry is open to all by appointment only. It serves people from Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, Everett, Charlestown, and Winthrop. You'll need to register before you can pick up food.

How to Register?

Call (617) 884-0260 during registration hours, which run Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Good to Know

Visitors have reported that food can run out right around noon on distribution days. Be sure you're registered in advance and plan to arrive early on Thursday.

How to Pick Up

Food distribution takes place every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, by appointment only. You must register by calling during the Monday through Wednesday registration window before your pickup day.

Additional Support

The Salvation Army Chelsea also offers help with Food Stamp (SNAP) applications. Staff can do a free pre-screening to check if you qualify, then help you fill out and submit the application.

Ways to Give

You can make a one-time or monthly donation online. Goods and vehicle donations can be arranged through SA Truck. Your donations stay in the local community to help neighbors in need.
