Who Can Visit?

Everyone is welcome at the Food Pantry at Harbor Health. There are no eligibility restrictions. New clients register during their first visit, and only one account is allowed per household.

How Often You Can Visit?

Clients can visit once per month.

Good to Know

Clients wait outside in line for service, so come dressed for the weather. Don't arrive before 8:15 am. Wearing a mask is encouraged.

Calling ahead to register as a new client saves time. Call (617) 533-2228, or register in person when you arrive during open hours.

Free parking is available in the lot at 770 Gallivan Boulevard (the former Verizon store) or in any legal street spot. Don't park in the staff or patient lot behind Daniel Driscoll - Neponset Health Center or in the Santander Bank parking lot, as your car may be towed.

If the pantry is closed due to weather or any other reason, updates are sent by text or posted to the website. You can also call (617) 533-2228 for updates.

Food & Essentials

The pantry provides shelf-stable dry goods, fresh produce, protein, and hygiene supplies. In 2025, the team distributed more than 287,000 pounds of food, including over 212,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables. The pantry is a 2025 Healthy Pantry Champion recognized by the Greater Boston Food Bank, meaning most items score high on nutrition and are low in sodium, sugar, and additives.

Personal care items including diapers, baby wipes, baby shampoo and body wash, and baby formula are also distributed.

How to Pick Up

Clients wait outside in line at 10 Minot Street, just across the street from Daniel Driscoll - Neponset Health Center. Staff and volunteers pack bags of food for clients to take home. The team works to serve everyone as quickly as possible.
