Who Can Visit?

The food pantry at Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center is open to community members who are dealing with food insecurity. You'll need to call ahead to be added to the pantry list before your first visit.

How to Register?

Call 617-825-3400 Monday through Friday to be added to the pantry list. You can also schedule an appointment online at the HSNHC website.

Good to Know

The pantry has been serving the community for over 30 years and is a partner agency of the Greater Boston Food Bank, helping hundreds of families each month. Interpreter services are available in over 200 languages, so there's no language barrier to getting help. You can reach the pantry by phone at 617-825-3400 or by email at contact@harvardstreet.org.

Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center offers several programs that can help beyond the food pantry:

  • SNAP Assistance: Staff can help you apply for SNAP benefits. Call 617-825-3400 to schedule an appointment with the SNAP Coordinator.
  • WIC: The WIC program provides free, healthy food, nutrition education, and health care referrals to low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children under age 5. Learn more at harvardstreet.org.
  • Insurance and Benefits Help: Certified Application Counselors can guide you through applying for MassHealth and the Health Connector. Call 617-825-3400 to schedule an appointment.
