First Baptist Church Las Vegas
Who Can Visit?
The Community Food Pantry is open to locals in the Las Vegas area. Anyone in need is welcome to come and receive food. The church also runs a separate Senior Food Pantry once a month for older adults.
Items Needed for Registration
When you visit, please be aware that address verification may be required. If someone else uses your address for their mail, that could affect your eligibility, so it's a good idea to bring documentation that shows your current address.
How Often You Can Visit?
The Community Food Pantry runs every Tuesday. The Senior Food Pantry is available once a month, on the last Wednesday of each month. Each program operates until 11:30 am or until the food runs out, so arriving early is a good idea.
Good to Know
The line can get long, so plan to wait a bit. Try to arrive early to get a good spot. Volunteers are friendly and kind, and the process is generally described as easy. Food is distributed outside, so dress for the weather, especially during warm months.
Food & Essentials
Visitors receive a good amount of food at each visit. Volunteers pack and distribute food boxes. The church works with a regular supply of food to help families in the community.
How to Pick Up
Both pantries are held at the church at 4400 West Oakey Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
- Community Food Pantry: Every Tuesday from 8:30 am until 11:30 am (or until food runs out)
- Senior Food Pantry: Last Wednesday of each month from 8:30 am until 11:30 am (or until food runs out)
Just show up during those hours and join the line. Volunteers will sign you in and help you through the process.
Additional Support
The church offers a variety of other community programs, including Ping Pong on Thursday evenings, a monthly senior potluck (Golden Nuggets), and Spanish-language services through Iglesia Bautista Vida Eterna.
