Who Can Visit?

This food pantry is open to everyone. It serves both members of the congregation and anyone in the wider community. You don't need to be a member or have any specific background to show up. Food is given out on a first come, first served basis, so arriving early is a good idea.

How Often You Can Visit?

The food pantry happens once a month, on the third Saturday of each month, starting at 8:00 AM. You're welcome to come each month.

Good to Know

Distribution is on a first come, first served basis, and it continues until supplies run out. On holiday weekends, Three Square (the food bank partner) may not deliver, so the event could be moved a week earlier or later than usual. It's a good idea to check before heading out if there's a holiday coming up.

Food and Essentials

The pantry provides fresh food as well as shelf-stable items that last longer. Food is distributed in partnership with Three Square, Southern Nevada's regional food bank.

How to Pick Up

You can pick up food by driving through or walking in. If you drive, volunteers will place food items right into your trunk. If you walk, you can pick up your items on foot. Distribution starts at 8:00 AM at 3616 East Lake Mead Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115.

Ways to Give

You can support the food pantry through a donation. There are a few ways to give:

  • Online: Donate directly to the Food Pantry fund at https://uuclv.breezechms.com/give/online?fund_id=1556758
  • Check: Make it out to "UUCLV" with a note for the food pantry. Mail or drop it off at UUCLV, P.O. Box 365190, No. Las Vegas, NV 89036-5190
  • Cash: Place it in a labeled envelope and drop it in the Sunday collection plate or the Admin Office drop slot
  • Bill Pay: Use your bank's app or website to send money directly

How to Join the Team?

Volunteers are needed from 7:00 AM through clean-up on pantry days. There are many ways to help, and all help is appreciated.
