Operation Give Back
Operation Give Back (OGB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been serving the Cincinnati area for over 20 years. Their mission is to support educational equity and community outreach for students and families in need — helping everyone reach their full potential and give back to society. OGB runs out of a cheerful 6,000 sq. ft. facility in Blue Ash, Ohio, and serves the Sycamore School District and Sharonville communities.
Who Can Visit?
The Community Food Pantry is open to families living in the Sycamore School District and Sharonville communities. If you live outside the service area, call OGB anyway — they can provide an emergency food bag and connect you with a pantry closer to you.
How to Register?
An appointment is required to visit the pantry. Call OGB at 513-489-2023 by Tuesday afternoon to schedule your Wednesday visit.
How Often You Can Visit?
Shoppers are invited to visit the food pantry every six weeks.

Additional Support
Beyond the food pantry, OGB offers several other programs for families in the Sycamore School District and Sharonville communities:
After School Tutoring & Mentoring OGB's signature program serves students in grades 1–8, offering two hours of tutoring three days a week (September through May). Students work individually or in small groups with trained volunteer tutors. Transportation home can be provided by the OGB van. Contact your school administrator to see if your student qualifies.
School Supply Giveaway Each August, OGB gives new backpacks filled with school supplies to students in the Sycamore School District, Sharonville Elementary, and Stewart Elementary. Parents and guardians must call in advance to register: 513-489-2023.
Annual Holiday Store Each year OGB hosts a Holiday Store where children receive new toys, pajamas, socks, and a large Blessing Bag with food and personal care items. Families must pre-register by calling 513-489-2023. Proof of school district enrollment and address is required at registration.
Winter Coat Giveaway Held on the first Saturday of November, this event provides new or gently used winter coats to children (newborn through age 18) in the Sycamore School District and Sharonville community. Call 513-489-2023 to register before the event. Proof of school district and address required.
Facilities
OGB operates out of a 6,000 sq. ft. facility that provides plenty of space for tutoring, pantry operations, and community programs. The space is described as cheerful and welcoming.
Ways to Give
OGB relies entirely on community generosity to keep its programs running. Here are some ways you can help:
- Donate items: New food pantry staples, personal care items, backpacks, school supplies, holiday toys, children's coats, pajamas, socks, and underwear are always welcome
- Financial donation: Make a one-time or monthly gift through PayPal on the OGB website at ogiveback.org
- Host a food drive: Organize a canned goods or shelf-stable food drive at your business, school, organization, neighborhood, or church
- Become a corporate partner: OGB promotes corporate partners on their website and at fundraising events
- Fundraising events: OGB hosts a Ladies Luncheon (spring) and an Annual Golf Classic (fall) — both are great ways to support the cause
