Who Can Visit?

The Food for the Soul pantry at Sisters of the Transfiguration Convent is open to anyone facing food insecurity. You do not need to belong to a specific church or religion to receive help.

How Often You Can Visit?

You may visit the self-select food pantry once a month. Pantry dates vary, so check the calendar on the website for the current schedule.

Good to Know

Food for the Soul is closed on major holidays, including Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, the Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving Day. Plan your visit around these closures.

Food & Essentials

Food for the Soul rescues food that would otherwise be thrown away, prepares it, and makes it available to people in need. The pantry offers monthly self-select food pantries, as well as nutritional cooking classes. The ministry provides about 4,000 meals monthly to the community.

How to Pick Up

The pantry uses a self-select model — you walk through and choose your own food items. This lets you pick what works best for your household.

Additional Support

Beyond the food pantry, Food for the Soul also prepares and delivers rescued food to local nonprofits for free. The ministry also offers nutritional cooking classes to help people make healthy meals at home.

Ways to Give
