Who Can Visit?
The Thea Bowman Center's food pantry is part of the center's Health and Wellness program, which focuses on serving the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood in Cleveland. Food & Essentials
The center operates a fully stocked food pantry to give community members access to essential nutrition. Hot, nourishing meals are also served on-site through the Health and Wellness program.
In addition to food, the center has a clothing closet where community members can access clothing.
Additional Support
Beyond food, the Thea Bowman Center offers a range of support services. Tax preparation help is available for community members. The Community Education program includes an Adult Literacy and GED preparation class as well as hands-on computer training to build digital skills. Senior programs provide companionship and well-being activities, and youth and family programs include after-school enrichment and summer activities for young people.

How to Join the Team?
The center welcomes volunteers of all kinds, including individuals, groups, organizations, and corporate teams. Opportunities include packing and distributing food in the pantry, supporting the clothing closet, GED tutoring, computer coaching, senior outreach, and youth program assistance.
