How Often You Can Visit?
You can visit once per month.
Good to Know
Each visit provides approximately an eight-day supply of food. The exact amount varies based on your family size.
Food & Essentials
The Hunger Center provides a large variety of canned, boxed, and bottled foods, chicken and other meats, and fresh produce when available through the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Non-food items are also distributed as supply allows, including laundry soap, dish soap, toothpaste, and deodorant.
How to Pick Up
You don't need to enter the building. When you arrive, stay in your car and join the formed line in the parking lot at the back of the church, near Tuxedo Ave. Volunteers will come to each car and bring your pantry items directly to you.
Ways to Give
Food donations are welcome. The best times to drop off are Tuesdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Friday mornings between 9 a.m. and noon. Please check the dates on any food items before donating.
How to Join the Team?
The Parma Hunger Center needs volunteers in several roles. They're looking for someone to answer the scheduling phone, take client appointments, and create the distribution schedule from home on a flexible call schedule. They also need a door person on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon, and people to help move large boxes into cars during distribution. Call the Church Office if you'd like to help. They'll train anyone willing to give it a try.
