Who Can Visit?

Lazarus Community's food pantry is open to anyone in need. No prior registration is required to receive food.

Food & Essentials

The pantry provides food packages put together in cooperation with the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank. Reviewers have noted that the items are a meaningful help, and the pantry has also been known to include pet food such as dog kibble in its distributions.

How to Pick Up

Lazarus Community runs a food-choice pantry, meaning visitors can select the items they'd like. The pantry operates on the last Wednesday of every month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Additional Support

Beyond the monthly food pantry, Lazarus Community offers a wide range of services:

  • Drop-in Center (Wednesdays): Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, visitors can access showers, clothing, and other assistance. A caseworker is on site starting at 10:00 AM to help connect people with resources such as housing, mental health support, and medical services.
  • Skyline Mobile Food Pantry: Skyline Urban Ministry brings their mobile food truck to the Lazarus Community parking lot on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Please bring an ID.
  • Soul Food Worship Service: Every Sunday at 4:00 PM, there's worship, fellowship, discussion, and dinner. Showers are available from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM before the service.
  • Transitional Living Program: A transitional housing program for men experiencing homelessness.
  • Community Garden: An on-site community garden that supports the ministry.
  • Emergency Food Kits: Emergency food kits are available for people in urgent need.
  • Mobile Food Truck Cafe: A mobile food truck cafe is part of the community's outreach.

Facilities

Lazarus Community offers free showers at its drop-in center on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and again on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM before the worship service. The site also has a clothing closet available during the Wednesday drop-in hours.
