Food & Essentials
City Center runs a food pantry and provides hot meals, family meal kits, and baby care items. The website describes their commitment to offering healthy, nutritious, and dignified food assistance to students and families facing hunger. Beyond food, they also supply hygiene items including feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, oral care, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors and shave cream, and household cleaning supplies. People of all ages can also shop their clothing selection, which includes shoes, professional attire, casual wear, socks, underwear, and accessories for adults, youth, kids, and babies. All clothing items are free of charge.
How to Pick Up
Visitors can come in and receive food and other items in person. Hot meals are served at 5:00 p.m., and reviewers recommend arriving early to make sure you get one. The clothing closet is open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Additional Support
City Center offers afterschool and summer programs for youth, including tutoring, mentorship, life skills development, academic support, cooking classes, and athletic and recreational activities.
