Good to Know
On Tuesdays, a hot community meal is served during pantry service hours, and you can choose whether or not to take a plate. Visitors have received fresh items like milk, apples, and deli sandwiches. Staff and volunteers are known for being friendly and welcoming.
Food & Essentials
The pantry distributes a variety of food items, including fresh produce like apples, dairy items like milk, and ready-to-eat items like deli sandwiches. Volunteers regularly unload and stock food for distribution. The pantry also provides other essentials to those in need.
How to Pick Up
Come during pantry hours to sign in and receive your food. The pantry works to get visitors in and out quickly.
Additional Support
Reaching Our City offers a range of programs beyond food distribution. These include a resale shop (thrift store) on-site, a women's social support group called V.I.N.E., community development programs, and a jobs program called L.I.F.T. (ROC Leadership Institute for Tomorrow). Dayspring Adult Day Services provides care for older adults and adults with developmental disabilities. Staff can also connect you with additional resources.
Facilities
There's a thrift store (resale shop) on-site where you can find donated goods.
Ways to Give
Reaching Our City welcomes financial donations to support their programs. You can give online at their donation page.
