The Brighton Heights Free Fridge (Freedge) is open to anyone in the community who needs food. No registration, ID, or appointment is needed — just stop by and take what you need.
Food & Essentials
The Freedge is stocked by community members with fresh produce, dairy and non-dairy milks, yogurt, cheese, eggs, dry goods, canned goods, and personal hygiene items.
How to Pick Up
This is a self-service community fridge at 1301 Davis Ave, kept going by neighbors and community partners. Just show up and help yourself to what's available. Follow @BRIGHTONHEIGHTSFREEDGE on Instagram for updates on what's currently stocked.
Ways to Give
You can support the Freedge with a financial donation through PayPal. Food donations are also welcome. The Freedge accepts fresh produce, dairy and non-dairy milks, yogurt, cheese, eggs, dry goods, canned goods, and personal hygiene items. Please don't bring raw meat that isn't frozen, expired items, homemade food, unsealed prepared meals, or medication.
