Who Can Visit?
The food bank is open to anyone who receives services from Milestone or any other social service provider in the Allegheny County area.
Food & Essentials
The food bank distributes groceries each Thursday. Visitors have reported looking for items like milk while shopping.
How to Pick Up
Visitors use a shopping cart to browse and select their own items. The pantry is located on an upper level, and staff are available to help with the wheelchair lift if needed.
Additional Support
The Chain of Hope Drop-In Center, which is located at the same building, offers a free lunch every weekday, along with opportunities for socialization, recreation, and wellness programs. These programs serve people supported for behavioral health and developmental disabilities in Allegheny County, as well as community members looking to connect with others.
Facilities
The building has a wheelchair lift to help visitors reach the upper-level pantry. Note that this lift is occasionally out of service, so it's a good idea to call ahead if accessibility is a concern. You can reach Chain of Hope at 412-247-5018.
