Food & Essentials
Mission Oak Cliff operates a client-choice food pantry that includes shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, and frozen meats.
How to Pick Up
Mission Oak Cliff runs a client-choice pantry, which means you get to shop for the items you want. Volunteers are on hand to help you as you pick out your food.
Additional Support
Beyond food, Mission Oak Cliff offers a range of services to neighbors in need:
- Welcome Center: Monday through Thursday, 1 to 3 PM. People experiencing homelessness can come in and receive lunch, a hygiene pack, emotional support, spiritual encouragement, and community referrals.
- SNAP Enrollment: A representative from the North Texas Food Bank helps community members enroll for SNAP benefits. Hours vary, so please contact the pantry for details.
- ESL Classes: Beginner and Advanced level English classes are offered twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 to 11 AM, taught by community volunteers.
Facilities
Mission Oak Cliff has a clothing closet open on Tuesdays from 1 to 3 PM. Clothing assistance is available for clients experiencing homelessness and for those who need help with business attire for work or interviews. Clients shop based on their family size, and all clothing is subject to availability.
