Who Can Visit?
Soul for Christ Ministry welcomes anyone who needs food. The pantry serves families in the Dallas and Oak Cliff area and is open to people in need. No eligibility restrictions are listed on their website — if you're struggling to put food on the table, you're welcome to come.
Good to Know
The food pantry works with the North Texas Food Bank, retail partners, and local donors to offer weekly food assistance to around 100 families. The ministry feeds over 13,000 people each year through this program. Daily meals are also available upon request.
How to Pick Up
You can visit the food pantry on Wednesdays and Fridays each week. The pantry operates on a weekly basis, and you're welcome to come during those open days to receive food.
Additional Support
Beyond food, Soul for Christ Ministry offers a range of other services to help people in the community:
- Counseling services: Counseling is conducted by Dr. Elijah, with the goal of helping individuals develop the thinking skills they need to manage life's challenges more effectively.
- Life Skills Training: Residents and community members are taught life skills for independent living. These classes are offered on a weekly basis.
- Mental health support: The ministry provides counseling and other services to anyone seeking help with their mental health.
- Affordable housing: The organization runs six licensed boarding homes in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, providing housing for people with mental illness, fixed incomes, and others who need a safe and stable place to live.
Ways to Give
Soul for Christ Ministry welcomes donations to help fund its mission. You can donate money directly through PayPal on their website. You can also donate an unused vehicle — whether a car, truck, motorcycle, RV, or boat. The vehicle donation program includes free pick-up and all the paperwork you need for a tax-deductible gift.
