Who Can Visit?
Christian Assistance Ministry's Northwest Campus is open to everyone. No appointment is needed. Just walk in during open hours and staff will help you on a first come, first served basis. To receive groceries, you'll need to bring a photo ID and proof that you live in the area.
Items Needed for Registration
Bring your photo ID and proof of residency. A utility bill or any other bill with your home address works fine as proof of residency.
How Often You Can Visit?
Households can receive groceries once every 60 days.
Food & Essentials
The campus provides groceries for households who can show proof of residency. Clothing, personal hygiene items, and household goods are also available for people in need.
How to Pick Up
Walk in during open hours on a first come, first served basis. No appointment is needed. Staff and volunteers will guide you through the intake process when you arrive.
Additional Support
Beyond groceries, the Northwest Campus also offers:
- Help recovering ID documents and birth certificates, both in-state and out-of-state
- Financial help with utility bills, once every 12 months
- Prescription medication assistance up to $80 per year
- Sack lunches for homeless visitors during morning hours on open days
Ways to Give
CAM accepts food and clothing donations at the Northwest Campus Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Clothing should be clean, in good shape, labeled, and sorted. Food donations should be sealed, new, sorted, and labeled. You can give financially by credit card or PayPal on the Ways to Give page, or mail a check to 110 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78215.
How to Join the Team?
About 15 volunteers are needed at the Northwest Campus each week. Shifts run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Roles include Food Pantry Worker, Clothing Sorter, Front Desk Intake, Interviewer, and Clothing Pantry Worker.
