Sunlit Thrift's food pantry welcomes everyone in the community. You don't need to show any ID, proof of income, or any other documents to take food. Just come in and help yourself.
The pantry is a small section inside the Sunlit Thrift store at 6645 San Pedro Ave. Owners Vivian and Stephanie work hard to keep it stocked with allergen-friendly options for the neighborhood.
The pantry carries allergen-friendly food options, including choices that are vegan and gluten-free.
The pantry runs on a "take what you need and leave what you can" model. Just walk in, head to the pantry section, and take what you need. There's no form to fill out and no line to wait in.
You can help keep the pantry stocked by bringing food donations when you visit the store.
