Catholic Charities Northeast KS - Hope Distribution Center
Who Can Visit?
The Hope Distribution Center food pantry is open to anyone who needs help. All services are based on need, not religion, gender, race, or nationality. You do not need to be Catholic or belong to any particular faith to receive food here.
To receive food, you will need to bring your ID and provide the date of birth for every other person in your household. The pantry can be visited once a month.
Items Needed for Registration
- A photo ID
- Date of birth for all other household members
How Often You Can Visit?
You can come once a month to receive food. Your visit should fall on the same day as your previous visit, or a few days after the 30-day mark.
Good to Know
Visitors can expect to receive a month's worth of food during each visit. This includes produce, meat, and pantry staples, as well as personal hygiene items and even a few desserts. The food comes from donations by local businesses like Walmart as well as individual contributions. It is a good idea to bring your own bags when you come.
Food & Essentials
The Hope Distribution Center provides a wide variety of food and grocery items. Visitors can expect to find produce, meat, and commodity staples. Personal hygiene items and desserts are also available. Reviewers describe an amazing variety and great quality of items, with a large selection to choose from. Donations from local businesses and individuals help keep the pantry well-stocked.
How to Pick Up
The pantry uses a client-choice model, meaning you get to pick your own items as if you were shopping in a store. Visitors describe the process as quick and enjoyable, with the ability to choose from various items.
