God's Pantry Food Bank
Who Can Visit?
God's Pantry Food Bank is a regional food bank serving 50 counties across Central and Eastern Kentucky. Rather than distributing food directly at this address, it works through a large network of partner food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Anyone facing food insecurity in their service area can use the Find a Pantry tool on their website to find the nearest food pantry or meal program in their county.
For Lexington residents, the food bank's Lexington Mobile Market is open to everyone. It's a mobile grocery store on wheels offering fresh food at slightly reduced prices across Fayette County. During summer months, God's Pantry also hosts produce distribution events across Central and Eastern Kentucky that are open to anyone with no registration or ID needed.
Food & Essentials
Partner pantries in the network typically carry non-perishable canned goods, fresh and frozen produce, proteins, soups, starches, and breakfast items. When availability allows, you may also receive bread, milk, eggs, fresh produce, and frozen meat.
The Lexington Mobile Market stocks fresh fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen meats, proteins, dairy, and produce. For enrolled seniors, the monthly CSFP box includes juice, cereal, milk, pasta or rice, peanut butter, canned meat, canned fruits and vegetables, and fresh produce.
How to Pick Up
The Lexington Mobile Market visits multiple neighborhoods across Fayette County, making two to four stops each day, Monday through Friday. When the truck arrives at your stop, you can board it to shop for groceries at slightly reduced prices. Payment by debit card, credit card, or EBT is accepted. Cash isn't accepted. Check the mobile market calendar to see upcoming stops near you.
For food at a partner pantry, use the Find a Pantry tool to locate a spot and see their hours.
