The Paulist Center Food Pantry
Who Can Visit?
The Paulist Center Emergency Food Pantry is open to anyone with an immediate, critical need for food. There are no residency requirements or religious requirements. No registration is needed — you can simply walk in during distribution hours.
How Often You Can Visit?
One visit per person per month. Each visit comes with one grocery bag of food.
Good to Know
The pantry distributes only non-perishable and pre-packaged items due to health guidelines, so you won't find fresh produce here. The pantry serves over 400 people each month. It's located on the first floor of the Paulist Center, two doors down from the reception area.
Food & Essentials
The pantry stocks shelf-stable groceries that don't require much cooking. You can expect items like rice, tuna, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter and jelly, dry milk, juice boxes, beef stew, ravioli, chili, spaghetti sauce, boxed cereal, canned beans and baked beans, soup, and packaged macaroni and cheese.
How to Pick Up
Come in on a non-holiday Tuesday afternoon between 1:30 and 3:00 PM. Volunteers at the first-floor pantry will give you a bag of groceries. No appointment is needed.
Ways to Give
Non-perishable food donations are always welcome. You can leave donated items by the Mary Altar after weekend liturgies. Monetary donations can be made online at tinyurl.com/DonatePaulistCenter or through donorbox.org/paulistcenter.
How to Join the Team?
To get involved as a volunteer with the food pantry, reach out to Susan Rutkowski at susan@paulistcenter.org or call 617-742-4460.
