Guardian Angel Settlement Association Social Stability Campus
Who Can Visit?
The Guardian Angel Member Choice Food Pantry serves neighbors across the greater St. Louis area. All visits are by appointment only, so you'll need to schedule a time before coming in. If you have an urgent food need, you can request an emergency bag without an appointment, and follow-up appointments are usually available within 24 hours.
How to Register?
To become a member and schedule your first pantry visit, fill out the Food Pantry Appointment Request Form on the Guardian Angel website. You'll provide your name, date of birth, phone number, email, and household size, and choose your preferred shopping day and time.
Food & Essentials
The pantry stocks most staples, including canned foods, bread, pasta, rice, and beans. Fresh produce and meat are also available.
How to Pick Up
Guardian Angel runs a member-choice pantry. Rather than giving out pre-boxed food, members get to shop for their own items based on their dietary and religious needs.
Additional Support
Beyond food, Guardian Angel offers a wide range of support services:
- Self-Sufficiency Education: Workshops throughout the year on financial literacy, healthy cooking, and parenting skills. Registration is required to attend. Check the Social Services Event Calendar for upcoming classes.
- Emergency Assistance: Direct help for families, seniors, and individuals at risk of eviction, foreclosure, or utility shut-off. Those who receive housing aid also take part in one-on-one self-sufficiency counseling covering financial literacy, budgeting, accessing community resources, and navigating education and employment programs.
- Graceful Guardians Senior Program: For adults 60 and older, this free program offers individualized case management, food access (including food deliveries for those with transportation or mobility challenges), transportation support, life skills workshops (financial literacy, fitness, nutrition, tenant rights, and computer skills), social activities like bingo and field trips, housing stability assistance, and connections to volunteer opportunities. To enroll, call (314) 773-9027.
- Holiday and Seasonal Programs: Back-to-school supplies, backpacks, and shoes in late summer; Thanksgiving meals; and Christmas food, clothing, and gifts in partnership with other community organizations.
Facilities
The Social Stability Campus has an on-site clothing closet where you can shop for clothing and household items while you're picking up food.
