Walk-in
Who Can Visit?
Guests who live in zip codes 63104, 63110, 63118, or 63116 can visit the food pantry to receive food bags. Guests outside these zip codes can receive one emergency bag per year and will be directed to other nearby pantries. All guests, no matter where they live, are welcome at Fresh Food Friday and Mobile Market Wednesdays (held on the first Wednesday of the month). No appointment is needed for any of these programs.
How Often You Can Visit?
Guests living in the service area can receive food bags twice per month. The clothing room is available to all once per month.
Good to Know
Fresh Food Friday starts around 10:00 am. You can enter your name and a volunteer will call them one by one, so it's kind of like a lottery. Arrive early since it's first come, first served. If time allows, you may be invited to go around a second time.
Food & Essentials
The food pantry offers shelf-stable items like canned food, cereal, peanut butter, cookies, and crackers. Meat, deli, produce, and bread are also available when in stock. On Fridays, pre-packed bags are handed out. Fresh Food Friday brings fresh produce, deli and pastry items, bread, and sometimes dairy and eggs, donated by area grocery stores. Through TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program), the pantry also distributes USDA food to households that qualify. A clothing room stocks gently used clothing for all ages, from infant to plus size, including business attire for job interviews.
How to Pick Up
Monday through Thursday, guests can come inside and choose their own food with the help of a volunteer. This is a client-choice pantry. On Fridays, pre-packed bags are distributed. Please bring a photo ID.
Additional Support
Isaiah 58 Ministries runs a Mobile Market on the first Wednesday of the month, open to all guests regardless of zip code. The ministry also connects guests with resources for rent and utility assistance, health care, employment training, shelters, and other community services.
Facilities
Free showers are available every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. They're open to all with no appointment needed, and all shower supplies are provided. Guests also receive undergarments, socks, and hygiene items. The clothing room is open Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and includes clothing for all ages.
