The Just One Project
Who Can Visit?
The Just One Project welcomes people who are struggling to afford enough food or who have had to cut back on the quality of their groceries or skip meals. Their flagship community market at 1401 N Decatur Blvd is open to all families and individuals in need.
For the CCSD school-based locations, you'll need to have a student currently enrolled in Clark County School District. Each school location serves families tied to that specific school's enrollment.
For the Senior Nutrition and Wellness (SNW) program, you need to be at least 60 years old and meet income guidelines.
For the mobile food pantry at senior housing communities, residents must be 60 or older.
The organization serves everyone with dignity and respect, and this institution is an equal opportunity provider.
Items Needed for Registration
To establish residency and qualify for food assistance, you'll need to bring one of the following:
- Nevada Driver's License
- Nevada Identification Card
- Utility bill or bank statement from the last 2 months
- Lease agreement or rental receipt
- Current SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF card
You can also self-declare that your household income is at or below 185% of the federal poverty guidelines to qualify for TEFAP (emergency food assistance). For the SNW senior program, you'll also need a photo ID and proof of Nevada residency.
How Often You Can Visit?
At the flagship community market, clients can visit once a month for up to 6 months with in-person shopping, then switch to drive-thru pickup appointments after that. Several Google reviewers confirm the once-a-month schedule.
For the mobile food pantry pop-up events at CCSD school sites, distributions happen on scheduled Saturdays throughout the year. Senior housing community distributions vary by location.
Good to Know
You need to call ahead to make an appointment before visiting. The client services phone number is 702-462-2253, and call hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Staff can also be reached by email through the contact page.
A few reviewers mentioned that it can be hard to get through on the phone, so if you call outside of business hours, leave a detailed message and they'll call you back. You can also fill out a New Client Request Form online.
If you don't have a way to get there, ask about their Lyft transportation service. Several clients mentioned receiving free rides to and from the pantry.
If you're coming with someone from a separate household, make sure staff know you're two different households so each person gets the right amount of food.
Food & Essentials
The community market offers a real grocery-shopping experience where you get to pick what you want. Here's what's typically available:
- Fresh produce
- Fresh and frozen protein (whole chicken, catfish, and more)
- Eggs and dairy
- Whole grain bread
- Canned goods and pantry staples
- Kid-friendly snacks
- Household essentials
- Hygiene products (sometimes)
Clients save up to $250 per visit depending on household size.
The SNW senior program provides a monthly box with canned meat, vegetables, fruit, cereal, pasta, rice or potatoes, shelf-stable or dry milk, dry beans or peanut butter, and American cheese.
The Groceries on the Go mobile market accepts SNAP benefits.
How to Pick Up
The flagship location at 1401 N Decatur Blvd Ste 32 offers both in-person shopping and drive-thru appointments. You can walk through and shop like a grocery store, or use the drive-thru lane around the back of the building.
For the SNW senior box, the drive-thru pickup is behind the building on Laurelhurst Dr. and Westmoreland Dr.
For the mobile food pantry pop-ups at CCSD school sites, you can walk up or drive through. Events generally run from 8:00 or 8:30 AM until food runs out.
For homebound seniors, grocery and meal delivery is available through the Meals on Wheels and Golden Groceries programs.
Additional Support

To get started with any of these services, call 702-462-2253 during call hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM).
