Who Can Visit?
This pantry is set up to help union workers and their families who are going through a tough time. If you're a union member who's out of work or struggling, this is a place that's meant for you. The staff works to understand your situation without judgment and treats every case as important.
If you're a union member looking for help, you can also reach out to your local union first, as resources here can be limited.
Items Needed for Registration
You'll need to bring the appropriate documents to qualify for assistance. The staff will walk you through every step of the process. It's a good idea to call ahead so you know exactly what to bring before your visit.
Good to Know
Due to federal funding cuts that took effect in January 2025, the agency is not currently able to offer rental or utility assistance. If you need help with those expenses, they may be able to point you toward other resources. The website is currently under construction, so the best way to get up-to-date information is to reach out directly.
For questions or concerns, you can email services@ulan.org or call 702-648-3500.
Food & Essentials
The food pantry provides a variety of grocery items. Past visitors have received fresh produce, high-quality bread, meats, and oatmeal. Around the holidays, the agency has also handed out special Christmas dinner bags for union members and their families.
How to Pick Up
Food pickup is done by appointment. You'll be assigned a specific date to come in and pick up your food. It's important to come on your assigned day, as picking up early or late may not always be possible. If you have a medical or other urgent reason that makes your assigned date difficult, it's worth calling ahead to explain your situation.
