Who Can Visit?
The Euclid Hunger Center serves Euclid residents. You'll need to show a photo ID at every visit. On your first visit, bring proof of Euclid residency, such as a current utility bill, pay stub, or official mail, along with names and dates of birth for any children in your household. If you don't have a photo ID, the staff can help you get one. Re-registration takes place every July.
If you live outside Euclid and you're facing an emergency, reach out first at euclidhungercenter@gmail.com or (216) 731-3329.

Good to Know
Numbers are handed out starting at 8:30 AM and visitors are served in that order, so arriving early is a good idea. The amount of food you receive is based on your household size. Bring multiple bags or a foldable cart since there's quite a bit to carry. Carts are also available to bring items to your car, and you'll need to leave your driver's license while the cart is out. A ramp is available at the west door for visitors with disabilities. The pantry is in the basement of Shore Cultural Centre. Enter through door #8 off the back parking lot.
Food & Essentials
Through retail pickups at Marc's, Aldi, Dave's, Target, Trader Joe's, and Meijer, plus partnerships with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, the pantry stocks a wide range of items. Visitors can expect fresh produce, frozen meat, bread and baked goods, breakfast cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, hearty soups, rice and noodle mixes, and other non-perishables. Eggs or yogurt and a dessert are often included as well. Household and cleaning products are also part of the distribution.
How to Pick Up
The pantry runs as a choice pantry, so when you arrive, you move through the sections and choose the items that work best for your household. This setup helps reduce waste and lets you pick what your family actually needs.
Ways to Give
You can donate money through Venmo at @EuclidHungerCenter, by PayPal or credit card at their website, or by mailing a check to Euclid Hunger Center, P.O. Box 23554, Euclid, Ohio 44123. If your employer has a United Way matching program, you can also designate your contribution to the Euclid Hunger Center.
Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off in the hallway outside the Hunger Center door anytime the building is open, typically Monday through Saturday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Items most needed include cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, hearty soups, chili, egg or elbow noodles, rice and noodle mixes, taco kits, and cleaning products. Standard sizes are preferred over warehouse club sizes.
