Crossroads United Methodist Church
Who Can Visit?
The Crossroads Food Pantry serves people who live in the 43204 or 43223 zip codes. You don't need a referral, and you don't need to call ahead to make an appointment. Just show up during pantry hours.
Items Needed for Registration
New clients need to bring a photo ID, a piece of ID for each person in the household (like an insurance card or Social Security card), and a utility bill that shows your home address.
How Often You Can Visit?
You can visit the pantry once a month.
Good to Know
Distribution begins at the listed time and continues until the pantry has served the first 30 people or one hour has passed. It fills up fast, so arriving early is a good idea. Visitors wait in line outside while waiting to be seen.
How to Pick Up
Crossroads runs a choice pantry, which means you shop for the items you need from various food categories yourself, just like a small store. This gives you the chance to pick what works best for your household.
Additional Support
The pantry has helped with a portion of rent or utility payments. Volunteers also offer a free attorney service available every month. For people dealing with homelessness or addiction, Crossroads partners with Jordan's Crossing Ministry at 342 N. Hague Ave., Columbus, OH 43204, which provides daily hot lunches, sack lunches, and connections to health services.
Ways to Give
You can make a safe and secure online donation to support Crossroads UMC's ministries, including the food pantry, through their website. You can also reach the church at (614) 274-4920 or office@crossroadsumccolumbus.org.
How to Join the Team?
The Crossroads Food Pantry is actively looking for volunteers. To find out more, contact Food Pantry Director Christopher Scoby at (614) 824-0431.
