Good to Know
Numbers are handed out starting at 8:30 AM, and only the first 25 to 30 people are served each day, so arriving early is a good idea. The soup kitchen starts serving lunch at 10:30 AM. If you're experiencing homelessness, you can also ask for a "Woods Bag," which is a bag of food you can take with you, as well as a personal hygiene bag.
Food & Essentials
The soup kitchen serves hot carry-out meals, including catered meals from restaurants like KFC and Boston Market, as well as lunch bags. The food pantry gives out canned goods, boxed items, and fresh milk, chocolate milk, or orange juice. On Saturdays, you can also get a breakfast sandwich. The pantry also has new or gently used shoes and clothing for adults and children, along with personal hygiene products.
How to Pick Up
The soup kitchen can serve up to 200 people each day, Monday through Friday. Numbers start being handed out at 8:30 AM. The pantry begins distributing food at 10:30 AM. You pick up your food in person.

An ODJFS (Ohio Department of Job and Family Services) worker is on-site each day to help people apply for food assistance, Medicaid, and other benefits. A mobile medical unit also comes to see those in need. You can reach the soup kitchen directly at (614) 461-9444 or email holypantry1@gmail.com.
