Who Can Visit?
The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is Oklahoma's largest food bank. It primarily works as a wholesale warehouse that supplies food to hundreds of partner pantries across central and western Oklahoma. People who need food are encouraged to use the pantry locator at regionalfoodbank.org/get-help to find a partner pantry close to them, or call 405-972-1111 for help.
If you aren't able to find food assistance through a partner pantry, staff at this location can also connect you with resources. One reviewer described getting an emergency basket here and being referred to nearby locations for more help.
Additional Support
The Regional Food Bank also helps people find several other types of support:
- SNAP enrollment help -- staff can point you to SNAP assistance through their Get SNAP Assistance page
- WIC referrals -- information for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) benefits is available at regionalfoodbank.org/get-help/wic
- Prescription Assistance -- help finding prescription programs is listed at regionalfoodbank.org/get-help/prescription-assistance
- Summer Meals for Kids -- a program to feed children during summer months; details at regionalfoodbank.org/summermeals
- 2-1-1 Heartline -- connects you to a wide range of social services
- Commodity Supplemental Food Program -- a monthly food box program for qualifying seniors; details at the CSFP page

How to Join the Team?
Volunteer shifts are available Monday through Saturday for individuals, groups of 6 or more, families, and even children 8 years and older. Activities include sorting and packing food such as bread, produce, packaged meals, and canned goods, as well as assembling backpacks for kids and packing senior food boxes. Volunteers describe the experience as well-organized, fun, and energetic -- often with music playing during shifts.
To sign up, visit regionalfoodbank.org/volunteer or email volunteer@rfbo.org. Court-mandated community service volunteers can also apply through the court-mandated page. The Food and Resource Center in Moore also has its own volunteer opportunities at the FRC volunteer page.
